Description:
Synopsis: Charlotte Kincaid encounters the ruggedly handsome Dan Clifford, a Marlin Bay farmer on the verge of financial ruin.
The love between Dan and his wife faded long ago, but he must battle to save her life. Despite his financial woes, Dan struggles for cash to send his wife overseas for crucial surgery. Charlotte is drawn to his plight.
With the bank knocking at his door, Dan's last hope is his twin racehorses. One of them is a first-place hopeful, the other is only in contention for the glue factory. Only Dan's daughter can tell them apart.
Will Dan risk illegally substituting the good horse in a race to win the money?
But others covet Dan's champion horse. When Christian's old flame Bianca Branda shows up, she teams with Paul Cosic - and they are determined to make life difficult for Dan.
Luckily, Dan has Charlotte on his side..
